Update 4/16/20

This week we have made coffee deliveries to Maimonides NYU Langone and Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn (155 55 Street and 4802 10th Ave). Obviously we aren’t entering hospitals, and in some cases our vehicles can’t get too close, but we snapped some pics that you can see below. Once again, a big thanks to these workers and also to those of you who have contributed to our COVID-19 Coffee Donations. Your giving makes these coffee runs possible.

Update 4/10/20

This week we have made coffee deliveries to Mount Sinai Upper East Side, a second shipment to Lenox Hill Greenwich hospital, Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, and Lenox Hill 77th Street hospital. A big thanks to these workers and also to those of you who have contributed to our COVID-19 Coffee Donations.

Update 4/3/20

Stay tuned for more hospital deliveries next week.  Hospitals are quite overwhelmed at the moment, but we’ve connected with a few more that would be happy to receive a coffee donation. We are working out those details now.

Updated 3/28/20 12pm

BRC is donating coffee to support New York City frontline medical workers dealing with the COVID-19 outbreak. So far, we have donated coffee to three NYC hospitals (Mount Sinai Beth Israel, Lenox Hill Greenwich, Brooklyn Methodist) and Duggal Greenhouse’s mask making program.

Effective immediately, all Brooklyn Roasting Company locations in New York will be closed pending further notice.
We value the health of our employees and customers and believe that this is the best decision to make at this time.
As always, we are available online.
Everyone please stay safe. Please practice recommended health guidelines. Thank you from all of us.

3/15/20 8:30pm

We wanted to share an updated related to COVID-19 and how it affects Brooklyn Roasting Company cafes.

As of now, all of our cafés will remain open to serve and fuel our coffee-loving customers. We stress that this is a developing situation and may change at any time.

We are working to enact social distancing protocols, considering limiting or removing seating and implementing strong capacity restrictions.

Our staff is working with an abundance of caution and their safety is our top priority. We have made all of them aware of CDC health guidelines regarding COVID-19 during staff meetings and through internal communications.

We have implemented the following increased cleanliness protocols:

– Frequently used surfaces will be sanitized twice an hour.
– Touch screens will be sanitized with Clorox wipes after every use.
– All coffee drinks will be served in single-use cups.

Note: We remain committed to resource conservation and green business practices, but believe this step is warranted in view of the COVID-19.

Brooklyn Roasting Company coffee is available 24/7 at brooklynroasting.com.

For those of you working remotely, we are working on a multi-unit building home coffee delivery service in Manhattan and Brooklyn, which will be launched soon.

We thank all of you for your continued patronage. Coffee shops have long been gathering places as well as fuel stations for human beings. Our business is directly and deeply affected and your support is seriously appreciated.

We’re going to get through this together.

Thank you for all your support!
