This naturally processed (sun-dried) coffee is grown in the southern highlands at the edges of East Africa’s Great Rift Valley. Countless heirloom coffee varietals grow in the wild in this part of Ethiopia, yielding coffees that are as exotic as they are delicious. The Kochere Cooperative is a member of the Yirgacheffe Coffee Union in the Sidamo region. Generous cherry, and chocolate notes mingle and linger in the cup. We roast these beans on the light side to preserve their juicy, delicate origin character.
